Biography
My research integrates insect behavior, chemical ecology, and integrated pest management across both field and stored-product systems. I have worked on major pests including Helicoverpa spp and Tribolium spp. Currently, my research focuses on resistance monitoring and management in corn systems, including Bt resistance in the European corn borer and insecticide efficacy in sweet corn production.
Research Interests:
- Crop insect pests
- Integrated pest management
- Insecticide resistance management
Current Research:
- Large-scale assessment of European corn borer (ECB) resistance to Bt proteins in the United
States and Canada using F2 screening - Evaluation of Vantacor, Elevest, and Steward eVo as foliar applications for the control of
corn earworm in sweet corn - Assessment of crop safety of Vantacor, Elevest, and Steward eVo in sweet corn production
